U.S. Senator Steve Daines, Senator Tim Sheehy, Congressman Ryan Zinke, and Congressman Troy Downing have sent a letter to Postmaster General Louis DeJoy requesting urgent action to address ongoing mail service disruptions in Bozeman and Belgrade, Montana.

In their letter, the officials highlighted problems such as misdelivered packages, challenges in tracking shipments, and staff shortages that have contributed to persistent service deficiencies. They noted the importance of the United States Postal Service and the need for immediate intervention to resolve these issues.

“As strong supporters of the USPS, we respectfully request immediate action to resolve interruptions in Bozeman and Belgrade. While we recognize the importance of streamlining operations and maintaining cost efficiency, Montanans are facing serious challenges that require urgent attention,” they wrote.
