Winter Weather Advisory for Flathead County

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Flathead County, effective from 1 PM Wednesday until 8 AM Thursday. Residents can expect snow, with a likelihood of minor impacts from snow reaching up to 60 percent. Total snow accumulations could reach up to 3 inches.

This advisory covers several areas including Flathead Valley, Polson, Mission Valley, and various highways such as Highway 83 from Bigfork to Swan Lake and Highway 93 from Eureka to Whitefish.

Motorists should be cautious, as the snow may cause a few inconveniences to normal activities. The hazardous conditions could affect the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes, especially over higher passes.
