The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for parts of Missoula County. Snow is expected, with a likelihood of minor impacts from the snowfall at up to 60 percent. Total snow accumulations could reach up to 3 inches.
When and Where: The advisory is effective from 1 PM today until 8 AM Thursday. Areas affected include Highway 83 from Seeley Lake to Condon, Highway 200 from Bonner to Greenough, and I-90 from East Missoula to Bearmouth.
Impacts: While impacts are deemed minor, residents should expect some inconveniences to normal activities. Caution is advised while driving, as winter travel conditions may affect Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes, particularly over higher passes.
