Barrett Hospital & HealthCare in Dillon, Montana, has been recognized among the 2025 Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals by The Chartis Center for Rural Health. This distinction was announced on February 26, 2025, and is part of Chartis’ annual awards program that honors exceptional performance among rural hospitals.
Michael Topchik, Executive Director of The Chartis Center for Rural Health, stated, “The Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals award program elevates the very best performers and helps create a roadmap for those seeking to improve financial and operational performance while continuing to care for the communities they serve.” This marks the 15th year the awards have been presented.

Founded in 1922, Barrett Hospital & HealthCare (BHH) is a non-profit Critical Access Hospital and medical clinic located in Dillon, Montana. BHH has achieved recognition as a Top 100 CAH 14 times and has been identified by the National Rural Health Association as a Top 20 CAH six times.
