The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the West Glacier Region, effective from 9 PM Sunday until 9 AM Monday. Residents should prepare for southwest winds of 15 to 25 mph, with gusts reaching up to 45 mph in the valleys and over 60 mph in higher terrain. Expect the strongest winds early Monday morning as a cold front passes through. Additionally, Marias Pass may receive 2 to 4 inches of snow, with brief periods of heavy showers anticipated.
Impacts from the windy conditions include the potential for unsecured objects to be blown around, downed tree limbs, and possible power outages. Watch for choppy conditions on area lakes.
