Wind Advisory for Missoula County March 8-10

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the Lower Clark Fork Region, effective from 9 PM Sunday to 9 AM Monday. Residents can expect southwest winds ranging from 15 to 25 mph, with gusts reaching up to 45 mph in the valleys and exceeding 60 mph in higher terrain. The strongest winds are forecasted to occur early Monday morning due to the passage of a cold front, along with an expected snowfall of 2 to 4 inches at Lookout Pass.

Impacts from these gusty winds may include blowing around unsecured objects, downed tree limbs, and potential power outages. Residents are advised to take precautions.
