Kalispell

Notable Increase in Welfare Checks and Thefts

Jurisdiction has delayed reporting.

Downtown Kalispell

The focal area of activity was in Downtown Kalispell, where police handled multiple welfare checks, assisted citizens, and attended to abandoned vehicles. Increased suspicious activities and reports of trespassing were also noted. Tensions led to one reported case of criminal mischief.

Kalispell North

A significant number of welfare checks dominated police actions in Kalispell North. Responses also included interventions for suspicious activities and a non-injury motor vehicle accident (MVA). A theft case was also recorded in this neighborhood.

Southwest Kalispell

This region saw various disturbances, including both verbal and physical. Police also responded to a DUI incident, an agency assist, and a fraud report.

Northridge Heights

Northridge Heights was a hot spot for theft incidents, with a total of four cases documented. Pedestrian stops and assists to citizens were also quite prevalent in this area.

Evergreen West and Empire Estates

Evergreen West reported issues relating to trespassing and a loose animal. Pedestrian stops and citizen assistance were frequent occurrences. Empire Estates on the other hand had more isolated incidents such as a vehicle out situation and a fraud case.

Other Areas

Kalispell East and Silverbrook Estates had fewer incidents with abandoned vehicles and suspicious activities, respectively. Northwest Kalispell and Kalispell South dealt primarily with fraud and theft cases, highlighting a crime pattern in these areas.
