Multiple Incidents and Advisories Throughout Missoula
Early Morning Incidents
The day began with multiple urgent responses by the Missoula Police Department (MPD) and Missoula County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO). Notably, repeated structure fire calls occurred in Franklin to the Fort around midnight. MPD responded to several incidents including a person to be removed in Westside, and reports of suspicious activity in both the Southgate Triangle and Rose Park areas.
Morning Activity
The morning hours saw a high volume of calls, particularly in Heart of Missoula and Franklin to the Fort. MPD addressed numerous instances of suspicious activity, welfare checks, and a wildlands fire in Heart of Missoula. There was also frequent advice needed, parking complaints in Franklin to the Fort, and ongoing fire alarms in Grant Creek indicating a series of potential hazards.
Afternoon Oversight
By afternoon, the focus shifted towards disturbances and regular checks, with frequent officer’s advice requests in Heart of Missoula and Civil incidents without specific locations. Notably, Grant Creek had multiple fire alarms, pointing to ongoing concerns in the area. Missoula County Sheriff’s Office was called several times to assist outside agencies, highlighting cooperative efforts in public safety.
Evening Priorities
The evening continued with more targeted responses by MPD and MCSO, such as court papers served across multiple neighborhoods like Riverfront and Franklin to the Fort. Missoula wrapped up the day with disturbances and multiple instances of medical standby in the Northside neighborhood.
