Increased Activity in Westside with Multiple Incidents
Early Morning Incidents
Missoula police responded to multiple incidents early in the morning. There were repetitive Medical Standby ALS calls at 12:14 AM in Westside, recorded three times. Additionally, the MCSO was alerted to Suspicious Activity at 12:26 AM in an unspecified location. There were multiple reports of Accident – Injury involving the MCSO, especially at 1:12 AM, with one incident specifically in the Heart of Missoula. The Westside neighborhood saw a rush of activity with Suspicious Activity also reported at 2:16 AM and multiple instances of Person Needs Assistance throughout the early hours. A noteworthy case of Disorderly Conduct occurred at 4:40 AM in Westside, escalating concerns in the area.
Morning Activities
The morning hours continued to be active with various incidents. Thefts and Burglary Alarms were noted, particularly a theft at 6:33 AM handled by the MCSO. Westside and Rose Park neighborhood reported multiple Welfare Checks and Person to be Removed incidents, indicating a rise in local disturbances. Additionally, Rose Park and other areas saw Burglary Alarms and Court Papers served around 7:59 AM. Missoula PD was busy with multiple assist requests, parking complaints, and minor accidents, with no injuries reported in the Franklin to the Fort area at 9:01 AM, which also witnessed Disorderly Conduct shortly after.
Afternoon Shifts
By afternoon, significant incidents included multiple reports of Disorderly Conduct, particularly in South 39th Street neighborhood, accounting for several cases between 12:47 PM to 1:01 PM. The MPD was also involved in several Assistance to Other Agency cases, Harassment complaints, and a series of Welfare Checks across various districts. Notable was a series of Accident – Injury incidents in Franklin to the Fort at 2:20 PM. A hazardous situation evolved with a reported Hazmat Gas Line Rupture at 2:27 PM, handled by the MCSO.
Evening Overview
The evening brought persistent activities with another peak in the Westside, where several Disorderly Conduct cases, Medical Standby needs, and Burglary Alarms were reported. Specific attention was required for multiple Accident – Injury incidents again in Westside around 5:47 PM. Another significant event was Camping in the City reported in Westside at 6:11 PM and in Riverfront later at 9:47 PM, suggesting issues with transients. Additionally, the evening concluded with multiple Driving Under the Influence incidents in Moose Can Gully, timed consecutively at 7:53 PM, suggesting a potential hotspot for vigilant monitoring.
Late Evening Trends
Late evening hours included more focused criminal activities with Burglary in River Road at 10:48 PM and Criminal Mischief occurring at 9:53 PM in Southgate Triangle.
