Multiple Hit and Runs and High Incident Areas Noted
Early Morning Incidents
Missoula Police Department (MPD) responded to multiple incidents in the early hours, starting with calls about a person needing removal and drug-related incidents, predominantly on Westside and Southgate Triangle. Notably, River Road faced three concurrent reports of hit-and-run accidents. Other incidents included suspicious activities and a theft in Heart of Missoula.
Morning Activities
The morning witnessed a variety of reports including hit-and-run accidents, thefts, and several welfare checks, mostly managed by MPD. The University District reported suspicious activities and multiple cases required MPD’s intervention in areas like Northside and Westside. Trespassing and disturbances were also handled during this period.

MPD dealt with assorted incidents ranging from hazards in Captain John Mullan to assaults in Westside. Notable was an accident with no injuries in University District and multiple cases of people needing assistance across Missoula.

Evening hours brought reports of suspicious activities and theft in neighborhoods including South 39th Street and Heart of Missoula; the latter observed a stolen vehicle and multiple injury-related accidents. Also, a notable increase in medical standby calls occurred in Westside.
Late Evening Occurrences
The night concluded with illegal burns in undisclosed locations and more serious incidents such as DUIs and a structure fire, affecting multiple areas.
