Increased Suspicious Activities and Disturbances Reported
Early Morning Activities
Missoula authorities were busy in the early morning hours with multiple reports of suspicious activity mainly handled by the MPD, particularly in the Heart of Missoula and Westside neighborhoods. Additionally, there were several medical calls and a trespassing incident in Lower Rattlesnake. Important among the reports was a welfare check in Southgate Triangle and another in Heart of Missoula.
Morning Reports
During the morning, Missoula County Sheriff’s Office and Missoula Police Department responded to various incidents ranging from court papers served in multiple locations to disturbances in Heart of Missoula and Westside neighborhoods. Notable was the consistent reporting of suspicious activities in Franklin to the Fort and assistance requests across multiple areas including unassigned locations.
Afternoon Uphold
The afternoon saw a continued pattern of suspicious activity calls spanning from Southgate Triangle to Westside. Civil incidents, welfare checks, and several accidents, including no injury cases in Captain John Mullan and an injury accident in Heart of Missoula, were noted. During this period, there was also a significant incident involving an accident with a pedestrian or bike resulting in injury.
Evening Concerns
The evening reports highlighted disturbances and disorderly conduct, especially in the Heart of Missoula and Westside. The Missoula County Sheriff’s Office responded to a notable burglary alarm late in the evening. Additionally, there were vehicle fires in Westside and several assistance requests related to fires on South 39th Street.
Late Evening Incidences
Late evening hours were marked by more disturbances and suspicious activities, majorly in Miller Creek and Franklin to the Fort. Emergency services were particularly focused on a series of disturbances and a serious accident involving injuries back in Heart of Missoula.
