Missoula County

Increased criminal activity dominated the early morning hours.

Early Morning

Missoula’s early morning was marked by a series of incidents across various neighborhoods. MPD responded to other non-criminal incidents in Captain John Mullan and Northside, as well as healthcare emergencies in Rose Park. Additionally, disturbances were reported in Captain John Mullan and the Heart of Missoula, as well as driving under the influence incidents by MCSO in Franklin to the Fort.

Morning

The morning hours saw a continuation of various activities, with welfare checks and assistance to outside agencies. Notable were multiple reports of wildlands fires in Upper Rattlesnake addressed by MPD, and conflicts such as littering and theft in Heart of Missoula. Accidents without injuries were reported across several neighborhoods including Captain John Mullan, University District, and Farviews / Pattee Canyon.

Afternoon

The afternoon brought multiple medical calls, assistance requests, and welfare checks, particularly concentrated in the neighborhoods of Heart of Missoula, Westside, and Rose Park. Various instances of disorderly conduct and several accidents with no injuries were additionally noted by MPD.

Evening and Late Evening

The evening and late evening periods were focused mainly on public safety and disturbances. Considerable efforts were made in addressing cases of intimidation and disturbances in Northside, along with ongoing support through welfare checks and assistance in neighborhoods like Franklin to the Fort and Westside. Notably, incidents of accidents resulting in injuries were managed by MPD in University District and Westside.
