Early Morning Incidents
Missoula County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and Missoula Police Department (MPD) were active in the early hours, responding to a variety of incidents. MCSO addressed a driving under the influence case and hazards, while MPD tackled suspicious activities in neighborhoods like Southgate Triangle and Lewis & Clark. Additionally, disturbances and a burglary alarm were reported by MCSO. Two separate incidents of ‘Person Needs Assistance’ and ‘Camping in the City’ occurred involving the MPD in areas including Westside and Lewis & Clark.
Morning Activity
As morning unfolded, numerous ‘Accident – No Injury’ reports were managed by both MCSO and MPD across various locations. Disorderly conduct situations arose in Westside and Rose Park, addressed by MPD. Notable incidents included an assault with a weapon in Two Rivers and multiple reports of ‘Person Needs Assistance’ across different districts including River Road and Heart of Missoula. MPD also handled theft cases in the Two Rivers and Rose Park neighborhoods.
Afternoon Overview
The afternoon saw continued activity with several ‘Person Needs Assistance’ calls primarily handled by MPD in neighborhoods like Heart of Missoula and Riverfront. MCSO dealt with hazards and moved violations, while both agencies managed multiple ‘Accident – No Injury’ cases. MPD was also involved in a few ‘Medical CPR’ incidents, highlighting the critical nature of some of the calls.
Evening and Late Evening
As evening set in, both MCSO and MPD were involved in various critical incidents including multiple ‘Accident – Injury’ cases and the resolution of disturbances and domestic animal concerns, mainly in the Westside and Franklin to the Fort areas. The night concluded with MCSO addressing a ‘Burglary Alarm’ and MPD handling a ‘Bar/Building Check’ in the Heart of Missoula.
