A Busy Day with Variety of Incidents Across Neighborhoods
Overview
Missoula police departments were active with various incidents ranging from routine checks to emergencies, affecting several neighborhoods throughout the day.
Early Morning Rush
Activities started in the early morning, with disorderly conduct and suspicious activities reported in the Westside neighborhood. A burglary alarm was triggered in Captain John Mullan, while DUIs and accidents including hit and runs were reported across Westside and Heart of Missoula. Welfare checks were also performed in Riverfront, and assistance was needed by the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office.
Midday Incidents
By midday, the police handled everything from traffic control to disturbances in various neighborhoods such as River Road and Southgate Triangle. Assaults were reported in Southgate Triangle while several traffic related incidents occurred in Heart of Missoula and Riverfront.
Evening Confrontations
The evening saw a continuation of diverse incidents. Various alarms were tripped in neighborhoods like Southgate Triangle and Rose Park, and disturbing activities demanding police intervention were reported in Lewis & Clark and Westside. Notable among them were multiple reports of structure fires in Lewis & Clark.

Westside, for example, dealt repeatedly with disorders and suspicious activities, while Heart of Missoula saw a series of burglary alarms and miscellaneous hazards.
