The Missoula Police Department responded to multiple incidents of suspicious activity and disturbances throughout the early morning across various neighborhoods including Grant Creek and Westside. Notable calls included multiple instances of loud noise complaints and privacy in communications issues.
Concerns Over Public Safety in Camping Spots
Concerns regarding illegal camping in city limits were predominant, with multiple reports logged in areas like Riverfront and Franklin to the Fort. The MPD handled these situations alongside routine bar and building checks.
Afternoon Accidents and Assistance
A spate of accidents without injuries were reported post-noon, particularly in neighborhoods like Heart of Missoula and Captain John Mullan. MPD were also called multiple times for person assistance needs and disorderly conducts in the Heart of Missoula, reflecting a tense afternoon for the area.
