Several Patrol Checks and Traffic Incidents Reported
Early Morning Incidents
A motor vehicle accident occurred at Galactic Park, requiring a response from multiple agencies, including AMR and Hyallite FD. The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) conducted follow-up investigations in Bear Creek and Gallatin Heights, alongside a welfare check in Pleasant Valley. Multiple patrol checks were noted across neighborhoods such as Ferguson Farm and Valley West. Notably, a harassment incident was registered in River Rock, a traffic hazard was managed by GCSO in Midtown, and civil disputes were marked in areas like River Rock and Brentwood.
Morning Activities
The GCSO remained active with patrol checks in localities like Spanish Meadows and Gallatin Heights. There were a couple of 911 hang-ups handled, particularly one in Gallatin Heights. A notable coroner callout took place in Valley Grove. Traffic activities increased with reports of multiple traffic stops and crimes, notably two in Woodland Park. A sexual crime was investigated in Gallatin Heights.
Afternoon Response
GCSO dealt with various incidents from traffic stops to vehicle assistance. An increase in patrol checks continued in Spanish Meadows, reflecting enhanced surveillance efforts. There was a combined response from Bozeman PD and GCSO for a follow-up in Bridger Canyon. A stalking incident in Mount Ellis Meadows called for an immediate response. Medical emergencies were also handled, including one intervention in 4-Dot Meadows.
Evening and Late Evening Encounters
Evening hours reported a general calm but included routine traffic stops with some in Apollo and Bear Creek. Peakview and Spanish Meadows neighborhoods saw traffic activities and a few additional patrols. An ‘Other’ incident involving CVFD pointed to a possible critical occurrence in 4-Dot Meadows. Late in the evening, a few vehicles were stopped, plus a patrol check and an alarm reported at River Rock closed the day.
