Early Morning Incidents
Missoula’s day began with a series of disturbances including multiple reports of trespassing, camping, and disturbance in neighborhoods like Riverfront, Westside, and Two Rivers. The Missoula Police Department (MPD) and Missoula County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) were also dispatched to manage three separate accidents involving injuries on River Road.

A noticeable rise was seen in accidents with no injury reported especially on River Road. Furthermore, the day’s first reports of wildland fires emerged from Captain John Mullan, signaling an urgent need for fire control efforts.

The evening extended into the night with personnel dealing with high-stress calls including accidents with injuries which peaked, including several in locales with no previously reported activities. Calls related to suspicious activities and disturbances were handled by MPD. The frequency of needs for assistance and medical care significantly rose towards later hours, underscoring potential end-of-day crises.
