Early Morning Incidents
The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) was active early in the morning, responding to a variety of calls across the county. Significant incidents included traffic hazards in Gardner Park, several patrol checks in Bear Creek and Springhill, and a motor vehicle accident in Apollo. Notably, Bear Creek witnessed a high frequency of incidents, ranging from traffic stops to alarms, and two coroner call outs were reported, one in Rainbow and another in Stadium Center.
Crime and Public Safety by Locality
Bear Creek was the center of the day’s activity, with over a dozen incidents like security checks, multiple patrol checks, and some traffic hazards. Apollo and Spanish Meadows also saw a busy day with various incidents like medical responses and patrol checks, respectively. Notable increases in activity were reported in 4-Dot Meadows, with a range of incidents including a missing person and outdoor fire reported.

These areas saw various crimes like traffic crimes, disturbances, and a continuation of morning traffic hazards and civil disputes. Gallatin Heights and Bear Creek continued reporting significant activity with vehicle accidents and further patrol checks.
Evening Developments
As evening approached, the frequency of incidents did not wane. Spanish Meadows reported several incidents including trespassing and disturbances. Noise complaints were exclusively noted in Spanish Meadows around late evening. Traffic stops remained a consistent theme throughout the day across multiple neighborhoods.
Late Night Activities
The day concluded with continued patrol checks, notably in Cooper Park and 4-Dot Meadows, and a coroner callout in Gallatin Heights. The activity spread across a broad spectrum of incident types, reflecting a bustling day for the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office.
