Early Morning Incidents
The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) was busy in the early morning hours with multiple incidents across the county. Animal-related calls were notably frequent, with GCSO responding to situations in Spanish Meadows, Bear Creek, Westlake Park, and other locations. Patrol checks were conducted in various neighborhoods including Bear Creek and Meadow Creek, ensuring community safety.
Traffic-related issues also dominated early morning activities, encompassing traffic crimes in Ferguson Farm and traffic stops in Bear Creek. A significant traffic hazard was reported in Ryen Glenn Estates. Medical emergencies were attended to in neighborhoods like Rainbow and Buffalo Creek, involving multiple responding agencies such as BPD and GCSO.
Mid-Morning to Afternoon Shift
As the day progressed, GCSO handled a variety of calls from fraud in Woodland Park to a coroner callout in West Post. Traffic incidents continued with various traffic stops and crimes reported in locations such as Apollo and Mountain View. The midday also saw a wildland fire response in Bear Creek, highlighting the range of emergency responses managed by the GCSO.
Evening to Late Night Patrols
The evening was marked by an assault in Ferguson Farm and a domestic incident in Midtown, requiring multi-agency responses including the Bozeman Police Department (BPD). Disorderly conduct in Spanish Meadows and traffic stops in several neighborhoods kept the GCSO active until late in the night. Patrol checks in areas like Bear Creek and Apollo continued till close to midnight, reflecting a stead commitment to local safety.
