Early Morning (Before 7 AM)
Missoula Police Department (MPD) responded to a series of crimes ranging from disturbances to welfare checks across different neighborhoods. Notable incidents included a burglary alarm at Grant Creek, assault in Franklin to the Fort, and multiple cases of persons needing assistance in the Heart of Missoula and Westside.
Morning (7 AM – 12 PM)
The morning hours saw an ongoing response from both the MPD and Missoula County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), with a notable frequency of accidents, including multiple reports of injury-related accidents at various locations. Theft and trespassing were also reported in areas such as Westside and Captain John Mullan, along with calls for medical assistance and suspicious activities. Moreover, the MPD assisted an outside agency in unspecified incidents during this period.
Afternoon (12 PM – 5 PM)
Crimes such as burglary, disorderly conduct, and need for assistance were prevalent, particularly in the areas of Westside and Franklin to the Fort. Missoula law enforcement also handled several harassment, drugs related crimes, and a rise in traffic-related accidents, illustrating a busy phase for local authorities.
Evening (5 PM – Late)
Evening activities included responses to hazardous situations, assistance in traffic accidents without injuries, and support for fire incidents. A notable increase in disorderly conduct and disturbances was seen in the Heart of Missoula. Public safety efforts also were required in Southgate Triangle with reports of shots fired and shoplifting incidents signaling a hectic close to the day.
