Early Morning Incidents
Early morning hours in Gallatin County saw a variety of responses from law enforcement and emergency services. The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO), along with CVFD and GC911, responded to a medical emergency in Gallatin Heights shortly after midnight. Around the same area, officers addressed a traffic hazard in 4-Dot Meadows and multiple animal-related incidents across different neighborhoods including Lake and Galactic Park.
GCSO also conducted several patrol and security checks across neighborhoods like Apollo, Bear Creek, and 4-Dot Meadows, where multiple follow-ups on previous cases were noted. A missing person was reported in the Brewery District, jointly attended by GCSO and MPD.
Notable Incident Trends
Bear Creek experienced a dense patch of activities, with numerous patrol checks and multiple follow-up actions dominating the reports. The neighborhood also saw instances of motor vehicle accidents and a district court appearance noted. In 4-Dot Meadows, the pattern was somewhat similar with a mix of animal incidents, traffic hazards, and property-related checks.
Other frequent incident types reported across various neighborhoods included traffic stops, criminal mischief in Mountain View and Greenhills Ranch, and civil disputes handled predominantly by GCSO.
Morning and Afternoon Activity
By morning, Gallatin’s activity shifted towards more communal and public assistance operations, including traffic crimes and public assists in Bear Creek and surrounding areas. Noteworthy was a medical emergency attended in Galactic Park by GCSO, in cooperation with HBFD1 and WYPD.
Afternoon reports included additional traffic crimes in Riverside and patrols in Landmark and Spanish Meadows, where a domestic incident was notably included in the reports around 17:08 PM. Traffic stops continue to be a frequent occurrence through different parts of the county including Main Street, signaling a focus on vehicle-related offenses.
