The day began with multiple incidents reported across Missoula. MPD responded to a moving violation in Grant Creek and a burglary alarm in Southgate Triangle shortly after midnight. Suspicious activities were noted in Two Rivers and the Heart of Missoula, where disorderly conduct was also reported. Westside neighborhoods saw complaints about loud noises.
Morning Rush
As morning unfolded, the frequency of incidents like trespassing in Southgate Triangle and welfare checks in Rose Park increased. Burglary alarms were notable in Grant Creek and Rose Park. Several accidents, including those without injuries, occurred throughout Missoula with multiple response calls in Grant Creek particularly for accident injuries, correlating with a higher rate of such incidents there.
Afternoon to Evening Transition
The afternoon brought a slight dip in incident rates, but accidents and vehicular incidents rose, including multiple accidents leading to fatalities in Westside. This neighborhood also faced issues like theft and various public disturbances.
