Early Morning Incidents

The Missoula Police Department (MPD) and Missoula County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) handled several incidents early on the morning of August 2, 2025, including loud noise complaints in Franklin to the Fort and Miller Creek, and assaults in Grant Creek and Northside. Substance-related arrests were noted in Moose Can Gully and University District with several DUIs reported.

Morning Activity

Incidences of burglary alarms in Westside and disruptions in Heart of Missoula marked the morning hours. Notably, there were multiple reports of accidents with injuries, mainly occurring in the Lower Rattlesnake and Captain John Mullan neighborhoods. Missoula agencies also addressed a high volume of medical calls and transfers, particularly focused in Rose Park.

In the late evening, the activities did not simmer down with disturbances and suspicious activities peaking, especially in neighborhoods like Franklin to the Fort.
