Early Morning Incidents
Missoula Police Department (MPD) and Missoula County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) were active in early morning hours with various incidents across the county. MPD responded to multiple medical standby calls in Franklin to the Fort and Rose Park, involving both Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) systems. MCSO tackled a burglary in the University District and disturbances in Grant Creek and Northside.
Morning to Afternoon
Throughout the morning, the agencies responded to several accident-related calls with injuries across different neighborhoods including Rose Park and the Heart of Missoula. There were multiple instances of suspicious activities reported primarily in Westside and River Road. Trespassing issues were noted in Westside, and disturbances were handled in various areas including the Heart of Missoula and Grant Creek. Additionally, MPD was called to several wildland fires.
Evening Overview
The evening saw continued activity with incidents including accidents with no injuries in Upper Rattlesnake and Southgate Triangle. The Westside area faced multiple thefts including shoplifting cases. Also, many fire assistance calls were registered, signaling a possibly greater underlying issue or coincidental series of events. Disturbances and disorderly conducts peaked in the Southgate Triangle and Heart of Missoula.
Overall, this day witnessed a wide range of calls with a particular focus on medical emergencies and fire-related incidents, indicating a strenuous day for our county’s emergency services.
