BOZEMAN — About 4,800 Montana State University students will move into their residence halls Aug. 17-18, days before the fall semester commences.
Incoming students each register for two-hour time slots to move into their rooms between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 17, or between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 18. Time slots are available through MSU’s Housing Portal.
“We’re so excited to welcome students to the Bobcat community and their new home,” said Korrin Fagenstrom, senior associate director for University Student Housing. “Move-in and all MSU Debut events are possible because our entire campus — departments, students and community members — believe in and contribute to the vibrant community we’ve built on campus.”
Students may submit a request to move in early if they are part of MSU’s final orientation session or another early arrival program. Information about early move-in is available on University Student Housing’s move-in website.
The university will provide curbside parking permits for move-in through MSU’s Parking Services page. Directions from Interstate 90 to MSU’s residence halls are available on the university’s move-in website, along with a comprehensive campus map.
For more information about move-in, contact Fagenstrom at 406-994-3822 or [email protected].
