Missoula County
Early Morning Activities
In the early hours, Missoula Police Department (MPD) and Missoula County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) addressed multiple incidents across the city. Notably, the Westside saw repeated instances of Pursuit/Reckless/Eluding with two reports around the same time. Disturbances were frequent in the Heart of Missoula and Westside neighborhoods. The Structure Fire cases in the Heart of Missoula were noted thrice at the same timestamp, indicating a significant event might have occurred.
Afternoon Incidents
As the day progressed, reports of Accidents – No Injury and Assault with a Weapon in the Franklin to the Fort area were significant. Multiple Accident – Vehicle vs Pedestrian or Bike Injuries occurred at Grant Creek. The afternoon also highlighted an increase in Medical Standby ALS calls in River Road, reflecting perhaps a concentration of medical emergencies in that area or an event.
Evening Overview
Toward the evening, the nature of incidents shifted slightly with reports of Wildlands Fires in the Captain John Mullan and other areas. Disturbance calls remained frequent in Westside. The early evening also marked an uptick in Driving Under the Influence, particularly noted in the University District.
Late Evening Events
The later hours maintained the pace with incidents like Driving Under the Influence and Suspicious Activity. Ocurrences peaked again in the Westside, where disturbances and vehicle-related incidents were predominant. Additionally, multiple occurrences of Medical Standby BLS in Westside suggest a persisting demand for medical support during late hours.
