Early Morning Incidents

MCSO responded to assist an outside agency in Two Rivers and a drug-related incident in Grant Creek. MPD dealt with multiple structure fires in River Road, Captain John Mullan, and undisclosed locations. A DUI occurred in Heart of Missoula by MCSO, and various assistance and suspicious activities covered the early hours across multiple neighborhoods.

Morning Rush

Missoula Police Department and MCSO were active with numerous reports of “Camping in the City” from River Road to Southgate Triangle. Attempts to remove individuals and vehicle-related complaints were also recurrent themes in neighborhoods such as Westside and Rose Park. Accident reports involving pedestrians or bicycles increased notably, particularly in the University District and Rose Park.

Afternoon Alerts

Into the afternoon, traffic accidents without injuries were reported across several districts. MPD addressed multiple assistance calls, hazards, thefts, and a notable number of court papers were served primarily in Heart of Missoula and Westside. MPSO assisted in several fires. A spate of vehicle versus pedestrian or bike injuries continued, framing a risky day for local traffic.

Evening Developments

DUI cases rose in the Westside area, along with disturbances and disorderly conduct spanning from Westside to River Road. Missoula Police Department responded to assaults with weapons in Riverfront, amplifying the urgency in public safety measures. Harassment and public disorders marked the evening alongside ongoing investigations into road traffic accidents.

Late Evening Overview

Assistance from MPD was frequent in incidents ranging from medical transfers in Lewis & Clark to judiciary support in Heart of Missoula. Drug-related reports closed the night in Riverfront. The late hours also recorded an increased rate of ‘Accident – Injury’ instances, hinting at continuous traffic and pedestrian safety challenges.
