Intensifying Morning Hours

As the morning progressed, disturbances and suspicious activities were reported frequently across Missoula, particularly in the Westside, where incidents ranged from vandalism to assistance for outside agencies. The ‘Heart of Missoula’ and other neighborhoods saw a mix of theft, harassment, and public welfare checks, alongside search and rescue operations. Multiple burglary alarms were triggered specifically in the Southgate Triangle and Rose Park areas.

Afternoon Surges

The afternoon brought an array of calls mostly concerning assistance needs, disturbances, and traffic incidents. Person assistance and disturbance calls were especially prolific in the Westside. Notable was an assault with a weapon in the Southgate Triangle and continued urgent responses to medical situations, including CPR in Riverfront.

Evening Diversification

Diverse incidents characterized the evening, with a robbery in Southgate Triangle being a standout event. The trends of disturbances, welfare checks, and suspicious activities continued strongly in the western neighborhoods. MPD addressed several trespasses and harassment issues, particularly intensified in the ‘Heart of Missoula’ and Westside which remained crime hotspots into the late hours.

Late Evening Observations

The night concluded with more discrete events such as medical transfers, ongoing traffic accidents with no injuries, and further disturbances that spanned across multiple areas, maintaining a consistent police presence throughout Missoula up to the midnight hour.
