Missoula County

Early Morning Incidents

Missoula Police Department (MPD) responded to several crimes in the early morning hours. The MPD handled multiple incidents of ‘Driving Under the Influence’ in Southgate Triangle. Franklin to the Fort neighborhood experienced ‘Suspicious Activity’ and three instances of ‘Medical Standby BLS.’ A ‘Disturbance’ and a ‘Burglary Alarm’ were reported in Captain John Mullan and Rose Park respectively.

Morning Round-Up

The morning hours saw a variety of incidents. Notable were ‘Assault with a Weapon’ in Heart of Missoula and multiple ‘Accident – Injury’ reports managed by Missoula County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) in Westside, without specific neighborhood details. ‘Traffic Accidents’ with no injuries were frequent in various areas including Captain John Mullan and Southgate Triangle.

MPD also addressed ‘Trespassing’ issues in River Road and Farviews / Pattee Canyon. Several ‘Camping in the City’ incidents occured in Captain John Mullan. ‘Theft’ was reported in Captain John Mullan and investigated by MCSO, alongside ‘Vandalism’. ‘Fraud’ instances were notably present in Southgate Triangle.

Afternoon Activities

Persistent ‘Accident – No Injury’ events marked the afternoon in Captain John Mullan and Riverfront, coupled with ‘Welfare Checks’ and ‘Trespassing’ incidents in the same areas. A sequence of ‘Medical Transfers’ by MPD and BLS calls dominated Westside. Hazardous conditions prompted a response in Rose Park and Northside.

Evening Occurrences

Evening incidents peaked with ‘Suspicious Activity’ in Upper Rattlesnake and a ‘Burglary’ in Franklin to the Fort. ‘Camping in the City’ continued with reports in the same neighborhood. ‘Disorderly Conduct’ and ‘Disturbances’ spiked in Northside and Riverfront. ‘Recovered Stolen Property’ in University District and medical-related calls in Westside were recorded.

Statistics By Neighborhood

Franklin to the Fort reported a high number of ‘Medical Standby BLS’ calls. Captain John Mullan has seen a rise in ‘Accident – No Injury’ and ‘Camping in the City’ occurrences. Southgate Triangle noted several DUI incidents making it a focus area for traffic-related offenses.
