Early Morning Activities
The day began with several burglary alarms in neighborhoods including Captain John Mullan and Heart of Missoula, along with a reported burglary in Rose Park. Missoula Police Department (MPD) and Missoula County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) were active in responding to these alarms and a case of suspicious activity in Grant Creek and Captain John Mullan.
Morning Developments
Various incidents such as accidents with no injuries, burglary alarms, and thefts kept both the MPD and MCSO busy throughout the morning. There were multiple instances requiring medical attention, and a notable accumulation of distress calls from the Westside neighborhood. The Heart of Missoula saw an array of calls including trespassing, burglary alarms, and requests for assistance.
Afternoon Incidents
Activities included accidents, both with and without injuries, particularly in Southgate Triangle and continued reports of burglary alarms. The Westside neighborhood also experienced a variety of calls for assistance and several accidents with no injuries. There were also reported disturbances and need for law enforcement assistance in areas such as Northside and Captain John Mullan.
Evening and Late Night Urgencies
The evening brought an assortment of incidents including welfare checks, suspicious activities, and the need for law enforcement assistance across several neighborhoods. The night closed with a shots heard report in Farviews / Pattee Canyon and multiple welfare checks and assistance calls in neighborhoods like Heart of Missoula and Westside. Disturbances in the University District and Grant Creek brought the day to an intense close.
