Early Morning Incidents
The early hours of October 7th saw a variety of incidents across Missoula. The Missoula County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) started the day with an Assist Outside Agency call in the Heart of Missoula at 00:08 AM. The Missoula Police Department (MPD) responded to multiple incidents of Suspicious Activity and Theft in the Two Rivers and Northside neighborhoods respectively.
Afternoon to Evening Overview
Missoula’s afternoon was bustling with activity, with the MPD addressing multiple incidents of Person Needs Assistance and Person to be Removed in the Westside neighborhood. There was a notable increase in Theft reports filed later in the afternoon, particularly in the University District and Grant Creek areas. The day also saw several instances of Disorderly Conduct across various neighborhoods, peaking in the late afternoon and evening.
Multiple Fires and Hazards
Missoula witnessed various emergency responses including multiple Structure Fires attended by MCSO late in the evening. These incidents were particularly concentrated in the Westside area. There were several calls related to Hazards, managed by both MPD and MCSO in different parts of the city, pointing towards a day filled with several high-risk incidents.

Throughout the day, both the MPD and MCSO were actively involved in providing continuous support through Assist Law Enforcement and Medical Standby calls.
