Early Morning Incidents

The day began with several incidents during the early morning hours across Gallatin County. The Sheriff’s Office responded to a variety of incidents including a motor vehicle accident in Apollo, a 911 hang-up in Peakview, and a security check in the same area. Traffic hazards were also noted in Woodland Park and Lake neighborhoods, handled by both GCSO and MSU.

Noteworthy is a sexual crime reported in River Rock, reflecting the range of early morning activities requiring police attention.

Morning Activity

As the morning progressed, numerous traffic-related incidents were addressed including several traffic stops and traffic crimes across different neighborhoods like Bear Creek, 4-Dot Meadows, and Spanish Meadows. Additionally, Gallatin Heights and Bear Creek witnessed various civic disturbances including a court violation and domestic incidents, emphasizing a busy schedule for public safety officers.

Vin inspections and animal-related calls were frequent, primarily in Northstar and Gallatin Heights.

Afternoon Responses

Into the afternoon, Gallatin County’s law enforcement continued to oversee a bustling environment with an emphasis on patrol checks in locations such as Spanish Meadows, Bear Creek, and Apollo. Traffic crime remained a key issue with incidents peaking in Bear Creek. A fight in Loyal Garden also required intervention from both GCSO and MPD, showcasing collaboration between agencies.
