Early Morning Indicents
Missoula Police Department (MPD) and Missoula County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) were busy in the early hours with multiple incidents. Three reports of a structure fire were noted at South 39th Street. Additionally, calls for trespassing, harassment, camping in the city, and various suspicious activities were reported across the neighborhoods including areas with no specific neighborhood mentioned. Notable incidences include disorderly conduct in the Heart of Missoula and shots heard in the Southgate Triangle.
Morning Indicents
As the morning progressed, incidents included multiple burglary alarms, incidents requiring police advice, parking complaints primarily in Rose Park, and a sequence of accidents. MCSO responded to a criminal endangerment in Captain John Mullan, with MPD handling simultaneous accidents with injuries in the same area. Drug-related incidents were reported twice in Rose Park, alongside various disturbances.
Afternoon Incidents
Activities continued into the afternoon with numerous welfare checks, accidents (including vehicle versus pedestrian incidents in Franklin to the Fort), person assistance needs, and burglary alarms. Significant reports included shots heard and multiple welfare checks in Franklin to the Fort, indicating a tense situation in the neighborhood. Moving violations and suspicious activities rounded out the afternoon incidents.
Evening and Late Evening Incidents
The evening brought cases of driving under the influence, further harassment, and continued responses to criminal mischief. As night fell, more structure fires were reported at Riverfront, reinforcing the earlier trend of the day. Late evening incidents involved continued burglary alarms, accidents with injuries spanning multiple locations, and persistent suspicious activities especially in Westside.
