Overview of Reported Incidents

The Missoula County Sheriff’s Office and Missoula Police Department responded to a variety of incidents, spanning from burglary alarms to welfare checks, across several neighborhoods in Missoula throughout the day of November 2, 2025.

Early Morning

Early morning saw diverse activity, particularly with multiple reports of burglary alarms, loud noise complaints, and personal assistance in neighborhoods such as Heart of Missoula, Franklin to the Fort, and Riverfront. Suspicious activity and trespassing were notable in Westside and Riverfront.

Morning

During the morning, there were numerous welfare checks, medical standby and BLS calls, and several incidents involving non-moving and moving violations across various areas. Increased incidents of theft and trespassing were reported in neighborhoods including Heart of Missoula and Captain John Mullan. An accident with multiple injuries was also noted in Captain John Mullan.

Afternoon

The afternoon continued to see a wide range of calls including suspicious activity, welfare checks, disturbances, and civil cases in almost every part of Missoula such as Westside, Heart of Missoula, and University District. High numbers of medical standbys in Westside highlighted the demand for medical assistance.

Evening

The evening was marked by further incidents of accidents with injury, particularly in Captain John Mullan. Other reports included suspicious activity, especially in neighborhoods with no specified location, and a series of disturbances around Missoula.

Late Evening

Late in the evening, Missoula saw continued burglary alarms and the need for officer’s advice, with incidents reported in Southgate Triangle and River Road. Medical standby needs persisted particularly in Westside.

Heart of Missoula led with various calls for assistance and thefts, while Westside saw a mix of disturbances, welfare checks, and ongoing medical support demands. Franklin to the Fort had frequent noise complaints and several personal removal demands.
