Early Morning Incidents

Missoula Police Department (MPD) responded to multiple ‘Assist Fire’ calls in the Lewis & Clark neighborhood shortly after midnight. The Riverfront area saw a theft incident around the same time. A DUI arrest was made in Lewis & Clark at 01:01 AM. Multiple ‘Person Needs Assistance’ and ‘Medical CPR’ calls were also reported in various neighborhoods including Westside and Captain John Mullan.

Morning Activities

The focus shifted to ‘Camping in the City’ violations and medical assistance in the morning. The ‘Heart of Missoula’ area reported various incidents ranging from camping violations to burglary alarms. Notable increase in theft was observed, particularly in the South 39th Street area. Law enforcement also handled several traffic related incidents across Missoula, including hit and runs and vehicle complaints.

Afternoon and Evening Incidents

Afternoon was highlighted by various serious incidents including multiple accidents causing injuries, significant theft activities especially in South 39th Street, and shoplifting in different areas. The evening continued with disturbances, additional shoplifting cases and several welfare checks focusing on individual safety.

Late Evening Developments

As night progressed, reports of suspicious activities and disturbances increased, particularly in Westside and Heart of Missoula. Multiple ‘Assist Fire’ and ‘Burglary Alarm’ incidents were noted as well. Traffic accidents with injuries were prominent in the late evening hours.

Statistical Highlights

South 39th Street experienced a high number of thefts with 12 reported incidents. The Heart of Missoula followed with various public safety issues; ‘Camping in the City’ and burglary alarms were frequent. Rose Park had multiple serious cases including three ‘Accident – Vehicle vs Pedestrian or Bike Injury’ incidents, reflecting a concerning trend in vehicular safety.
