Early Morning Incidents

Missoula’s day began with an array of incidents mostly focused around vehicle issues and disturbances. In the University District, a vehicle theft was reported by the MPD. Only a few minutes later, the Northside saw a case of driving under the influence. Throughout various neighborhoods, hazardous conditions were noted, along with the need for law enforcement advice and accident responses, particularly in the Two Rivers area which recorded multiple injury accidents near early morning.

Morning Shift

The morning hours saw a continuation of early morning trends with additional incidents such as recovered stolen vehicles, multiple welfare checks and several burglary alarms across different neighborhoods. Disturbances were consistently reported, most notably in Franklin to the Fort where multiple incidents were recorded. Westside also saw a series of reports concerning trespassing and camping within the city limits.

Afternoon Round-Up

By afternoon, Missoula Police had responded to various calls regarding medical assistance and stand-bys as well as confrontations and accidents. There were several accidents involving vehicles and pedestrians in the Captain John Mullan area, indicative of significant traffic issues. The Heart of Missoula faced various crimes including a structure fire and several acts of disorderly conduct.

Evening Overview

As the evening set in, the criminal activities seemed not to cease. Significant occurrences included several hit and runs and medical transfers primarily in neighborhoods like Heart of Missoula and Riverfront. Lake evening brought some serious concerns with reported intimidation and shots heard in less specific locations; this elevated alertness in affected neighborhoods.
