Early Morning Incidents

Missoula Police Department and Missoula County Sheriff’s Office responded to a series of incidents in the early hours of the morning across various neighborhoods. Events included a disturbance in Moose Can Gully, welfare checks in River Road and Westside, and suspicious activities reported in Heart of Missoula. An abandoned vehicle was noted in Grant Creek by MCSO and a burglary alarm was set off in Franklin to the Fort.

Morning Activities

As morning progressed, MPD and MCSO dealt with multiple “Person Needs Assistance” calls, particularly in Northside and Southgate Triangle. Suspicious activities spiked in Franklin to the Fort and Rose Park, while welfare checks and aid to outside agencies predominantly occurred in Westside and Grant Creek. Theft and intimidation incidents were recorded in Franklin to the Fort, with a burglary also reported near the Heart of Missoula.

Afternoon Events

The afternoon saw a continuation of assistance needs, particularly in Westside and the University District. Disturbances in Franklin to the Fort and disorderly conducts in Northside and Grant Creek were notable. A few non-injury accidents and cases of criminal mischief presented further challenges for law enforcement.

Evening and Late Evening Occurrences

Evening incidents included more disturbances and welfare checks, particularly in South 39th Street and Franklin to the Fort. Late evening activities were marked by shoplifting and camping violations in the University District. The day concluded with medical stands by BLS across multiple locations, indicating a busy night for emergency services.
