Early Morning Incidents
Missoula County Sheriff’s Office reported a ‘Fish and Game’ incident on the Westside early this morning. Multiple DUI cases were handled by Missoula Police Department, particularly in the Heart of Missoula, where repetitions were noted. The early hours also saw ‘Camping in the City’ disturbances in Riverfront and drugs-related arrests by MPD in Southgate Triangle. Suspicious activities were recorded on River Road and in the Heart of Missoula.
Morning Incidents
The ‘Accident – Injury’ incidents were predominantly noted in the Farviews / Pattee Canyon area, raising safety concerns. Vehicle fires were particularly striking throughout the morning, with multiple occurrences handled by MCSO in various unspecified locations and neighborhoods such as Northside and Grant Creek. Welfare checks and ‘Person Needs Assistance’ calls were frequent, reflecting community needs across various neighborhoods including Westside and Captain John Mullan.
Afternoon Incidents
The afternoon was punctuated by significant activities including a structure fire handled by MCSO, and multiple person needs assistance scenarios unfolding across the city. Theft incidents occurred in Captain John Mullan and a flurry of ‘Accident – No Injury’ cases were reported, adding to the eventful shift. Public assistance during a fire in Northside highlighted the community-oriented operations of MPD.
Evening to Late Evening Incidents
As darkness fell, Westside dealt with multiple incidents ranging from disturbances to disorderly conduct. DUI cases continued to be a major concern, particularly in Captain John Mullan. The late evening hours were also riddled with assault cases and thefts, pointing to an uptick in aggressive behavior and property crimes as the night progressed.
