Early Morning Activities
Missoula Police Department (MPD) and Missoula County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) were active in the early morning hours with multiple Medical Standby calls on Westside and Franklin to the Fort neighborhoods. MPD responded to a burglary alarm in the Heart of Missoula and suspicious activities in different locations including River Road and South 39th Street. MCSO addressed an obstructing incident at Riverfront and an unlocated accident with injuries.
Morning Developments
Significant activity continued into the morning. MPD took numerous calls from Miller Creek to Captain John Mullan areas, ranging from hazards to multiple structure fires in Captain John Mullan. MCSO served court papers in the Lewis & Clark and Rose Park neighborhoods and responded jointly with MPD to accident scenes across several areas, including injury-related accidents and vehicle collisions with no injuries reported.
Afternoon Intensifications
Diverse incidents, such as thefts, fraud, suspicious activities, and multiple accidents, were recorded across various neighborhoods including Franklin to the Fort, South 39th Street, and Westside. Traffic related incidents and hazards were notably frequent. Court paper servicing and welfare checks were prominent in Lewis & Clark and Franklin to the Fort.
Evening and Late Evening Trends
The closing hours of the day saw escalating incidents of disorderly conduct, several accidents with and without injuries, and continued response to suspicious activities. Custodial interference, driving under the influence, and noise complaints were particularly noted in the Heart of Missoula and Captain John Mullan neighborhoods. Loud noise complaints ended the evening in Captain John Mullan alongside multiple reports of shots heard in Heart of Missoula.
