Missoula Crime Report – July 3, 2025

Early Morning Incidents

Missoula Police Department (MPD) responded to numerous calls across various neighborhoods early this morning. Notable incidents included multiple calls for ‘Person Needs Assistance’ in the Heart of Missoula, Southgate Triangle, and University District. Suspicious activities were reported in the Two Rivers area and an unspecified location. Additionally, a ‘Burglary Alarm’ was noted in the Riverfront area.

Morning Trends

The morning hours showed a continuation of diverse incidents. Two Rivers experienced ‘Burglary Alarm’ activations while ‘Medical Standby BLS’ was required at multiple unspecified locations, attended by Missoula County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO). ‘Suspicious Activity’ incidents were dispersed throughout several areas, including Northside and Franklin to the Fort. Several ‘Accident – Injury’ incidents required MCSO’s attention in the Westside and other non-specified locales.

Afternoon Activities

Incidents continued into the afternoon with ‘Wildlands Fires’ in the Captain John Mullan neighborhood, drawing significant attention from MPD. ‘Disturbances’ and ‘Driving Under the Influence’ reports were concentrated in Westside and River Road, respectively. Various other calls such as ‘Person Needs Assistance’ and ‘Suspicious Activity’ continued to occur frequently.

Evening Overview

The evening brought ‘Court Papers Served’ in the Heart of Missoula, while ‘Fireworks’ disturbances increased significantly in several neighborhoods including Two Rivers and University District. A ‘Suspicious Activity’ report late in the evening in Southgate Triangle highlighted ongoing vigilance by MPD.

Late Evening Round-Up

The night concluded with ‘Wildlands Fire’ incidents in Moose Can Gully and a string of ‘Medical Transfers’ facilitated by MCSO, indicating persistent emergency responses throughout the night.
