Missoula Crime Report – August 7, 2025

Early Morning Incidents

Missoula law enforcement responded to numerous incidents during the early hours. MPD and MCSO officials reported various cases including suspicious activities in unreported areas, Rose Park, Miller Creek, and Captain John Mullan. Burglary alarms were notably set off in Rose Park and Westside. Trespassing was addressed by MPD in Heart of Missoula and disorderly conduct was dealt with at the same location. Late evening incidents covered various urgent categories, including a hit and run and suspicious activities throughout Missoula.

Morning Activities

The morning was marked with continued police attention especially with MCSO addressing a welfare check in unreported areas and MPD investigating accidents across Westside, Riverfront, and Rose Park. MPD also assisted in several other requirements ranging from removing individuals in problematic situations to serving court papers extensively in neighborhoods like Franklin to the Fort and River Road.

Afternoon Overview

In the afternoon, the focus shifted towards handling accidents, including multiple vehicular collisions causing injuries in neighborhoods like Lewis & Clark and Franklin to the Fort. Both MPD and MCSO worked on elements ranging from disturbances, obstructing, to assisting fire services in River Road.

Evening Summary

Evening activities heated up with multiple reports of wildlands fires being a significant issue. Areas like University District and Captain John Mullan saw MCSO and MPD managing these alongside other crimes such as disturbances in Northside and burglaries in Heart of Missoula. The evening ended with varied activities including welfare checks and providing needed assistance across different areas.
