The Montana Election Integrity Project announced its first educational event focused on providing Montana citizens with data and analysis of the Montana 2020 General Election. The three speakers who will be sharing their research include Dr. Douglas G. Frank, Former Army Cpt. Seth Keshel, and Law Professor David K. Clements. The event will be held on September 22, 2021 at 9:00 AM at Discovery Alliance Church in Missoula.

Dr. Douglas G. Frank is a physicist and has modeled pandemics and elections for over 40 years. Seth Keshel is a former Army Captain and elections researcher who provided an analysis of the Montana 2020 General Election. Using demographic and voting trend data, Keshel’s analysis indicates 46,000 excess votes in Montana including 25 Montana counties with “suspect” to “obvious” election fraud indicators. Professor David K. Clements is an assistant professor of law at New Mexico State University. Clements presented the case for forensic audits at Mike Lindell’s Election Integrity Cyber Symposium held in August.

In January, Missoula election integrity volunteers conducted a review of ballot signature envelopes from Missoula County’s 2020 General Election. Ballot signature envelopes are inspected by election administrators to ensure the signature on the envelope matches the signature on the voter’s registration, tying the ballot to a lawfully registered voter.

The envelope count was conducted under the supervision of the Missoula County Elections Administrator and staff. Volunteers counted the ballot signature envelopes brought to them in boxes by the Elections Administrator’s staff. When they finished, they tabulated the count and found only 67,899 ballot signature envelopes from a total of 72,491 mail-in ballots cast.

This envelope shortfall presents a discrepancy indicating 4,592 (or 6%) of ballots cast in the 2020 General Election were missing their required envelopes. Without a ballot signature envelope, a valid voter registration cannot be confirmed making the vote illegal to count.

According to an affidavit collected by the Missoula election integrity team, dozens of ballot signature envelopes had duplicated signatures and other envelopes were missing signatures or had no indication that they had been verified.

Members of the Montana Legislature, led by Sen. Theresa Manzella (SD-44) and Rep. Brad Tschida (HD-97), are forming a Select Committee to investigate the irregularities shared by analysts and by the Missoula election integrity team. Manzella shared that the Select Committee could lead to convening an emergency session of the Montana Legislature to write audit rules and conduct a county by county audit of the 2020 General Election.

In addition to guest speakers, the morning event will provide a brief update about the current findings of the election integrity team in Missoula County. The event will be held at Discovery Alliance Church, 2630 Connery Way in Missoula. Doors open at 8:30 AM and the program starts at 9: 00 AM.
