Numerous Incidents of Suspicious Activity and Assistance Needed

Early Morning Incidents

Missoula Police Department (MPD) was active in the early hours, responding to a series of incidents including a suspicious activity report in Grant Creek and a person needing assistance in Franklin to the Fort. The department also addressed disturbances in Lewis & Clark and Westside, and a report of intimidation in Franklin to the Fort.

Morning Activities

The morning saw a variety of incidents such as disturbances across several neighborhoods including Lewis & Clark and Westside, multiple cases of parking and junk vehicle complaints in Captain John Mullan, and assistance requests scattered through various areas. Notably, Westside experienced multiple instances of suspicious activity and disturbances.

Fish and Game violation was also reported in Two Rivers, while MPD dealt with civil and burglary alarms in different locations.

Afternoon Reports

MPD and Missoula County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) continued to manage numerous calls involving parking and vehicle complaints, persons needing assistance, and disturbances notably in Captain John Mullan and Westside. There were several reports of persons to be removed in various locations. Moving violations were notably handled by MCSO.

Additionally, Captain John Mullan drew attention due to multiple assistance to outside agency calls, and a series of structure fires in the late afternoon.

Evening and Late Evening Highlights

The evening continued to be eventful with more disturbances, primarily in Westside and the South 39th Street neighborhood. Westside noted a high number of unique incidents including medical stands and welfare checks.

Missoula Police responded to several urgent situations such as structure fires in Captain John Mullan and numerous welfare checks throughout the city. Suspicious activities and disturbances remained prevalent, with repeated offenses in neighborhoods like Westside and South 39th Street.
