Early Morning Dominates in Gallatin County with Multiple Patrol Checks

The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office reported a busy early morning across several neighborhoods with frequent incidents of patrol checks in areas like Bear Creek, Gallatin Center, and Riverside. Notably, 4-Dot Meadows encountered a wide variety of incidents ranging from a vehicle issue, a welfare check, an outside fire, to criminal mischief and a weapons violation. Apollo neighborhood saw increased security activity with multiple checks alongside several court-related services.
Morning Activities
Morning hours continued to be active with incident types expanding to include traffic violations, disturbances and civil disputes occurring predominantly in Apollo, Bear Creek, and River Rock. A notable rise in thefts and criminal mischief was also recorded, hinting at an uptick in property-related offenses. Patrol checks remained a constant, underlining community safety efforts by GCSO.

The afternoon period appeared slightly calmer with fewer incidents reported. Traffic-related incidents, including traffic stops and traffic crimes, were noted in Northstar and Bear Creek. Continuous patrol checks in locales like Peakview and West Post signify enduring vigilance in those particular communities.
Evening and Late Evening Reports
The evening hours observed routine checks and a domestic incident in Bear Creek, followed by follow-up visits by the GCSO. Late evening hours rounded out the day with a motor vehicle accident in Bridger Canyon being one of the significant occurrences.
