Missoula County Allocates $20,800 in Impact Grants to Support Rural Community Projects
Grants cover various community-driven projects in areas such as Bonner and Frenchtown.

MISSOULA, Mont. — Missoula County has distributed $20,800 in Impact Grants to fund community projects across rural locations including Bonner, Frenchtown, Seeley Lake, and Condon, as part of its ongoing Rural Grants program.
Recipients of the 2025 Impact Grants include:
- Bonner PTA: $4,000 to construct a new playground and community park on Bonner school grounds, which will feature an updated play structure, a volleyball court, new basketball backboards, and swings.
- Football Club Frenchtown: $3,600 to enhance local soccer fields with new goals, nets, and line markings to allow them to host home games.
- Upper Swan Valley Historical Society: $4,000 to hire a contractor to power wash and seal the deteriorating exterior logs on the Rustics of Lindbergh Lake log cabin, facilitating its use as home to the Swan Valley Museum and a community center.
- Bonner-Milltown Community Council: $2,000 to provide a large waste disposal option for residents in several communities, helping manage excessive trash during a four-day period.
- Bonner Milltown History Center: $2,500 to craft an exhibit centered around a 2,700-pound vintage safe from the Bonner Mill, which will be housed at the KettleHouse Brewery due to its size.
- Building A Better Society Community Outreach: $3,740 to host a spring community clean-up and a flower distribution event in Seeley Lake, aimed at beautifying the area and managing seasonal debris.
- Swan Mission Academy Arts Athletics Resource Team: $960 to support after-school clubs focusing on journalism and graphic design in Condon.
