Heavy Police Activity with Multiple Burglary Alarms and Suspicious Activities

Early Morning Incidents

The Missoula Police Department (MPD) responded to several early morning cases starting with a trespassing incident in Lower Rattlesnake at 12:10 am. This was followed by multiple reports of suspicious activities in Moose Can Gully, Franklin to the Fort, and the Heart of Missoula between 2:26 am and 3:54 am. A loud noise complaint in Lewis & Clark at 3:33 am and a burglary alarm in Westside at 5:47 am were also reported. The Missoula County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) took reports of a suspicious activity and a person to be removed in areas with unspecified locations during this period.

Morning Trends

Morning hours continued with various incidents including persons to be removed in Grant Creek and a domestic animal issue in Miller Creek. Noteworthy, a series of medical transfers were reported in Southgate Triangle alongside a recovered stolen vehicle in River Road. Public disturbances were noted in Two Rivers, Northside, and Rose Park, reflecting a morning filled with diverse police engagements.

Afternoon and Evening Shift

The afternoon brought a concentration of burglary alarms, and suspicious activities were heavily noted in the Heart of Missoula, alongside a structural fire involving multiple units that occurred concurrently across several unspecified neighborhoods. The evening escalated with welfare checks, thefts, and more needs for police assistance particularly in Franklin to the Fort and the Westside. Franklin to the Fort reported various crimes including two thefts, a camping issue, numerous suspicious activities, and a notable incident involving shoplifting.

Late Evening Overview

Late in the evening, a range of personal assistance needs and suspicious activities continued, most prominently in Franklin to the Fort, Grant Creek, and the Heart of Missoula. A pair of burglaries alarms closed the evening in Grant Creek. Despite the late hour, emergency medical calls were consistently reported until nearly the end of the day, reflecting ongoing demands on public safety resources.
