Multiple incidents of suspicious activities and several accidents
Early Morning and Morning Activities
Missoula witnessed a series of events right after midnight with disorderly conduct and multiple requests for assistance emanating from Heart of Missoula. MPD addressed these alongside further incidents spreading towards Grant Creek and Miller Creek where suspicious activities were noted. Notably, there were frequent calls regarding personal assistance across various neighborhoods. The onset of the morning saw a mixture of theft, loud noise complaints, and traffic-related incidents primarily addressed by the MPD with the MCSO handling certain distress calls.
Afternoon Rush
The afternoon brought a rush of incidents including accidents with injuries and various public safety activities. Multiple reports emerged from Franklin to the Fort involving theft, suspicious activities, and disturbances which were managed by the MPD. Simultaneously, the MCSO was active in responding to welfare checks and non-property damage related accidents in Grant Creek. Various misdemeanors continued with regularity across several locations.
Evening Events
As evening commenced, there was an increase in accidents involving injuries, alongside notable disturbances and illegal fireworks across multiple neighborhoods including Westside, Captain John Mullan, and River Road. The MPD and MCSO were involved in various interventions ranging from criminal mischief to DUI enforcement.
Late Evening Incidents
The night wrapped up with a mixture of disturbances, need for personal assistance, and a repeat of loud noise complaints, with interventions primarily distributed between MPD and MCSO across the landscapes of Westside, River Road, and Heart of Missoula. Noteworthy was the frequency of public complaints, signaling a busy night for local law enforcement.
