Missoula Crime Report – November 10, 2025

Early Morning Incidents

The early morning hours in Missoula saw a variety of police activities. MPD responded to two reports of suspicious activities occurring in Lewis & Clark and Heart of Missoula neighborhoods shortly after midnight. A series of noise complaints and disturbances were also addressed, including a loud noise complaint in Southgate Triangle, and a person required removal in Franklin to the Fort. Medical Standby Basic Life Support (BLS) units were particularly busy with three incidents recorded at Riverfront. Other early morning incidents included a harassment report in Westside and a welfare check in Captain John Mullan.

Morning Activities

Morning hours continued with diverse incidents. Notably, MCSO dealt with a structure fire in Westside, and various traffic-related issues including accidents and non-moving violations were reported across different neighborhoods. Other notable morning incidents included a drug-related report in Riverfront and several cases of trespassing and theft. MCSO and MPD’s joint efforts were seen in multiple welfare checks and assistance calls across the county.

Afternoon Engagements

The afternoon was marked by accidents, including several non-injury accidents and instances of vehicle versus pedestrian or bicycle accidents in Grant Creek. Welfare checks were frequent, with locations spread from Heart of Missoula to Rose Park. A few incidents of civil disputes and requests for officer’s advice were also recorded. Significant attention was drawn to a trio of structure fires in Two Rivers neighborhood handled by MPD.

Evening Roundup

Evening hours reported continued with varied activities. Some of the more concerning reports included multiple incidents of camping in the city across different neighborhoods and consistent occurrences of suspicious activities and welfare checks. A rise in theft reports and disturbances was noted in locations such as Westside and Captain John Mullan, including several incidents requiring the removal of individuals.

Notable Trends

Throughout the day, there was a notable number of welfare checks, indicating a community-focused approach by both agencies. The combined efforts of Missoula Police Department (MPD) and Missoula County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) showed a robust response to a wide range of incidents from civil disputes to emergency responses and from public disturbances to welfare concerns, reflecting a busy day for both departments across Missoula.
