When I was going through the TSA (Thieves and Sexual Assailants) checkpoint in Buffalo to fly to Chicago and then to Missoula, I had to surrender my driver’s license at the first guard shack to verify that I was who I say I am. There was a sign posted which said that facial scans were being taken, but were optional. A notice said that ALL photos would be deleted as soon as ID was confirmed.

Yeah, right! I’m sure they are not saving those biometrics in a databank somewhere.

After I handed the agent of the State my license, he inserted it into his machine and motioned me to stand in front of the camera. I told him that I was not going to opt out of the scan. At that point, he scowled and grumbled something about already having entered my ID and now he would have to cancel and reset the procedure, which he did. I patiently waited and when he handed my license back, simply moved on to the next position and eventually made it through the gauntlet in relatively good shape.

Everyone else simply did as they were instructed, dutifully and slavishly surrendering their personally private information to the whims of the Dictator who seeks to control everything about our lives. Do you want to fly? Look at the camera so we can collect information about you.

Interstate 90 east of Buffalo is a toll road, but there are no manned (womanned?) stations. Instead, everything is done by license plate readers and computers. Since I paid for the rental car with a credit card, I expect to receive a charge for the tolls and there won’t be a doggone thing I can do about it.

This is the wave of the near future. It will be pervasive. It will be everywhere and there won’t be a doggone thing we can do about it–except refuse to comply and subject ourselves whenever possible. Refusal to participate will be costly, but self-ownership is worth the price. In the end, if enough people resist and stand strong for themselves and those around them, the Machine will fail.

I have faith.

I have been on vacation in Pennsylvania and New York for the last week and flew into Missoula yesterday afternoon. I am so grateful we didn’t come in on that storm which probably would have crashed the plane if we had been caught in it.

A storm had passed through that area, the Twin Tiers, a few days before I arrived and did a lot of damage to trees, power lines, and houses, but I saw nothing there which compares to this. I have lived through hurricanes in Florida and seen extensive damage, but the sheer speed and intensity of this storm exceeds anything I have ever experienced.

Here’s to a speedy recovery and my gratitude goes out to those who do the work of cleaning up the mess. Be safe. Be blessed. Be well.

Since the recent primary in which the “lesser of two evils” has been decided (according to your definition of evil), the urgency of electing “our” candidate has completely disappeared from the news, including this venue. It will maintain that status for a month or two, then ramp up again into a shrill cacophony of noise just before the election in November.

Can we be done with this?

In the meantime, the world is gearing up for war, what may be the final war fought by our modern, enlightened societies, all of which have determined that violence, force, death, and destruction are the only ways to achieve “our” goals.

It is quite possible that active war will break out between the West and Russia in a few months, with the determination that the November election must be cancelled and postponed until a more opportune time, that is, when things have settled down and We, the People have become accustomed to the new restrictions placed on us by our illustrious leaders, who are all determined to force us into a state of virtual slavery.

Clear your mind of the fog. It’s the only way to see things clearly.

Boiling this down to its very essence, what this means is that the “right” (so-called) to kill unborn human beings must be held sacrosanct and the “authority” (so-called) to kill born human beings cannot be undermined. The thrust of the whole issue is one of a powerful person dictating that a weaker, vulnerable person submit to destruction and death. Such a position is diametrically opposed to the teachings of Christ, Who stressed sacrificial love for others.
